Fabry-Perot R4500

In the present days (May 2013), we have available a QueensGate Fabry-Perot borrowed from Maryland’s University that can be installed into BTFI instrument to be used for higher resolution. The table bellow shows the nominal characteristics gathered from the FP’s owner.

FWHM  1.40A  63.9 km/s @ Hα

Fabry-Perot R20k

We also have the following Fabry-Perot, borrowed from Australian Astronomical Observatory, to be tested in the next few months (June/July 2013). The Fabry-Perot operates at a nominal Finesse of 30 at 5000A and nominal spectral resolution of 24000. Based in those values, here is a table with nominal values:
